As with most Family History Societies, we are administered and run by enthusiastic amateurs in their spare time, often at the cost of neglecting their own researches. Therefore none of us normally have time to deal with any correspondence that doesn’t relate directly to the tasks we carry out for our Society. Other mail, such as general enquiries about personal researches from non Society members, usually has to be ignored. Even the courtesy of a reply takes up time that should be spent on other activities. Instead, we offer a range of Enquiry Services & Research Facilities.

Correspondence is generally dealt with in order of receipt, with postal mail and e-mails receiving equal treatment, so e-mailers cannot expect priority or “immediate” answers.
